About Calleo Water Damage Restoration LLC

My journey in the water damage, fire restoration, and mold remediation industry began over 21 years ago with a simple opportunity—and a willingness to work hard. I didn’t start at the top. I started as a helper, learning the basics, carrying equipment, assisting technicians, and doing whatever it took to get the job done. At the time, I didn’t realize that this first step would lead to a lifelong career and a deep passion for helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

From those early days, I became committed to learning every aspect of the trade. I paid attention, asked questions, and pushed myself to improve. Over time, I moved up to a technician role, where I began handling real responsibilities in the field—water extraction, drying systems, demolition, and mold mitigation. This is where I truly began to understand the importance of precision, urgency, and care in this industry. When someone’s home or business is affected by water or fire damage, they’re not just dealing with property loss—they’re dealing with stress, uncertainty, and disruption to their lives.

As I gained experience, I earned the role of crew chief, leading teams on job sites and making critical decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. Those years in the field—more than a decade of hands-on work—shaped who I am professionally. I learned how to assess damage quickly, develop effective mitigation plans, and ensure that every job was done correctly and efficiently. But more importantly, I learned how to communicate with customers, reassure them, and guide them through the restoration process with honesty and clarity.

After 11 years working in the field, I transitioned into leadership roles, expanding my expertise into project management, estimating, and operations. I became a Production Manager and later a Mitigation Director, overseeing large-scale restoration projects and managing teams of technicians. In these roles, I was responsible not only for delivering quality results but also for training and mentoring others.

One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been helping other technicians grow. I’ve trained individuals who started just like I did—with little experience but a strong work ethic—and watched them develop into skilled professionals. Being able to guide others in achieving their goals has been just as meaningful as completing any restoration project.

Throughout the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of multiple restoration companies. I’ve helped build systems, improve operations, and elevate service standards. These experiences gave me a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a successful business—not just from a technical standpoint, but from a leadership and customer service perspective.

But despite all of that, I felt there was something more I was meant to do.

Over time, I began to feel a strong calling—a sense that it was time to take everything I had learned and build something of my own. That calling wasn’t just about business; it was about purpose. It was about creating a company that reflects my values, my experience, and my commitment to serving others.

That’s when I founded Calleo Water Damage Restoration LLC.

Starting Calleo was more than just opening a company—it was stepping into a new chapter of my life and career. It represents everything I’ve worked for over the past two decades. Every lesson learned, every challenge faced, and every success achieved has shaped the way we operate today.

At Calleo, we approach every job with a clear mission: to provide fast, reliable, and high-quality restoration services while treating every customer with respect, honesty, and care. We understand that when people call us, they’re often dealing with unexpected damage and overwhelming situations. That’s why we focus not just on restoring properties, but on helping restore peace of mind.

We believe in doing things the right way—no shortcuts, no compromises. From the initial assessment to the final stages of restoration, our goal is to deliver results that our customers can trust. We combine industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and proven techniques to ensure that every project is handled professionally and efficiently.

What sets Calleo apart is not just experience—it’s perspective. Having worked every level of this industry, I understand what it takes to deliver quality work from the ground up. I know the importance of teamwork, leadership, and accountability. And I bring that mindset into every job we take on.

We also believe in continuous growth. The restoration industry is always evolving, and we stay committed to learning, improving, and adapting so we can provide the best possible service to our customers. Whether it’s new technology, updated standards, or better processes, we’re always looking for ways to improve.

But at the heart of everything we do is people.

We know that behind every job is a homeowner, a family, or a business owner who needs help. That’s something we never lose sight of. Our work goes beyond drying structures or repairing damage—it’s about helping people move forward.

Looking back on the past 21 years, I’m grateful for every step of the journey—from starting as a helper to leading teams and building a company of my own. Each stage taught me something valuable and prepared me for where I am today.

And looking forward, I’m excited about what’s ahead.

Through Calleo Water Damage Restoration, I’m committed to using everything I’ve learned to serve others, build trust, and make a positive impact in our community. In times of chaos and uncertainty, we’re here to provide clarity, support, and dependable solutions.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about restoration.

It’s about making a difference when it matters most.                                                                                                                                                                            JJG.
